Diann Farnsley from Port St. Joe, author of “Be Still the Dawn”, was at Titus 2’s life recovery residence Friday afternoon to talk to the students about poetry as a vehicle for expressing one’s spiritual journey and emotional life. Diann’s presentation included a dozen of the 333 poems from her book. It included numerous Scriptures, too, from her own “life verses”. The students were inspired and will give poetry a try as they work on their journals and personal testimonies. A copy of Diann’s book is at the house for the women to enjoy reading her diverse poems covering 33 years of her own life!
